building a computer using tigerdirect

not bad. may i ask why AMD and not a core 2? right now they are out-performing any AMD on the market, for maybe $20 extra (not sure of the exact price differances). Personally i think the extra bang-for-my buck was worth getting a core 2 over an AMD, but if your a die-hard AMD fan then it all looks good.

I doubt it...if he really did, nice deal, but it was probably some crappy DDR2-533 / PC2-4200 or something.
 
If he's using tigerdirect.com, he's probably American. :/ There are international sites like tigerdirect.ca, etc.
 
nah, i'm in the states. i had a guy basically point me in the direction of what to get. regarding the processor, link me to the one youre telling me to buy.

i like newegg way better than tigerdirect mainly because of customer reviews get you away from all that false advertising :D
