Default Building a computer

Hello guys.
Today I decided to build a computer on a 600-700 dollar budget.
I need some help with what to get as I'm not so great with building computers.
Some of the stuff I was thinking about is the following:

-Duo-core
-2g of RAM
-Antec 900 case
-nVidia card 8 series
-250g HDD
-DVD burner/reader

First of all, is a build along these lines possible at my budget? Secondly, I'd like all of these from newegg. I can figure most of the stuff out, I just have a hard time with the mobo/cpu combo. I never know what to get.

esa thanks for the posts...that will bring me at 480 + the case at 580. I'd still need a mobo, hdd, and dvd burner - all for 120, kinda tight there.

If you are not going to be doing SLI, then I would recommend that you go with a P35 board. They go much better with Intel CPUs than the Nvidia chipsets. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128084
