Hmm... I realise that, but i have just found out that the budget is 1500-2000 - I may had well build a very good server!

The *16 ethernet cables are for the switch, BTW

yh but you need the 16 cables to go to computers right .... well is he going to have all his computers 0.5 meters away ?

Wall of the server room - there are 14 ethernet jacks. Ethernet cables go from wall, to the switch. One of the spare ports is for a router, and one is for the server it's self.
