Budget Build Update

Yeah i was just about to throw in a link aswel.

Question:
Why buy something that you already are gonna replace soon after again.
seams like a waste of money

I don't exactly make much money, and what I do make 75% I save for college to get my degree in Computer Science, and 10% I give to my church and the 15% left over I can blow on whatever I want. And that 15% does add up to much :/ I'm not gonna upgrade again till I'm in college

You are better of saving for a complete new board that will support the i3 and DDR3 or just save for a whole new build like a kit from Newegg which are good..

Yeah. I don't play anything too intensive, Arma III and Day Z Standalone at most, and I know Arma III is descently hard on CPUs so I think an i5 2500K is in line someday, but the C2Q will do for now, as it is a "good" chip

It sux that you have to climb up in performance that way, YoungIT.
you are really wasting money that way.

But ofcause, Education comes first.
Glad i got mine for FREE.

Would it be worth it to get an SSD to boot the OS, and keep my other files such as games on a seperate hard drive?

My setup is like that and i can't imagine going back to only a harddrive.
So yeah, i'll say it's worth it.

How does that work? I mean, if I installed, for instance, Rust, wouldn't it automatically install on the SSD? I don't want that, I want everything that is NON OS to install on the Hard Drive
