Default Buddies HD wont load correctly

ok my buddy bought a external HD the other day and used it to back up files on his mac then when he plugged it up to his PC it wouldnt read... even in disk management it would only show up blank with no options to format, add partition or anything that normally pops up

You probably already have, but you may want to check this.

I have a couple Maxtor externals that require drivers off the installation disk for use with XP, but it looks like the external you are talking about doesn't.

Did you Buddy reformat the drive with his Mac?

He said that he didnt, so im not sure, ill look into that page though...
