Bsod? any suggestions

no i havent...

i think its the memory...but i dont want to go buy diff ram when that may not be the source of the problem

try running it on one stick, swap then if one doesn't work and try the other, if it works theres your problem

Did you manually adjust the RAM timings and voltages? I used to crash a lot when I first built my computer. After changing the timings to recommended speeds, everything worked fine. That's most likely your problem.

Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintainance > System. Click on the Advanced tab and in the Startup and Recovery section click on Settings. In the section, System Failure, uncheck Automatically Restart and click Ok.

The next time you get the BSOD your computer will halt on the 'Blue Screen'.

Then you can note the details down.

Also when I have had BSOD's when I reboot the system will use the code to hazard a guess at what caused the problem.
