hi for that site that tweaks ur firefox to go faster i did it manually via about:config and am wondering if the download just does the same thing?

Technically of course you can only load pages as fast as you can download them, most of the problem with speed of loading with Broadband is the Servers that host them, not the Browser or the Internet. Accelerators rarely do more than Install Spyware, and Fixes to Broswer Configuration will not speed anything up noticably.
