Broken Connector/Jack

I was trying to clean up some tea residue inside my laptop today and I accidentally dropped a screw into a gap so I had to dismantle the whole laptop to find it but I broke one of those little plastic plugs than went into a connector on the power button board. Half of the jack broke off and is still in the connector.

Is it time to bring my laptop to a technician? I don't have a soldering pen and have never worked with electronics. Would a technician charge a lot of money for this kinda thing?

depends on how bad the damage is...if its easy to fix then no he won't charge much...but if it'll require a little more labour then he'd charge more. None the less...they won't charge heavy prices...go into one of your local computer stores like TD.

Thanks. I don't really know whats involved but I can act like I do so I won't get ripped off.
