Broadband Modem.

Hello anyone, i am having a very hard time with my BT Broadband Router/Modem i play Xbox live alot and i always get disconected i have absolutly no idea why this keeps hapening, i have tried a few things with no sucsession and its now really starting to get on my nerves if anyone could put some seugestions my way i would be very greatful.

You'll have to find the ports that this game is using and open them. For that you'll have to find what ports the game needs to have opened and then go to your router settings,find port forwarding and enter the information. Note: 1 port can only be used for 1 application.

maybe try turning off your firewall too

That and DO NOT run XBX Live behind a Router, since it has a firewall. Just do a direct connection to the XBX live, or use a splitter, and don't make the connection flow through the routers Firewall port. That should solve it.

Actally they should tell you the port in the manual of the game

I play my ps2 online behind a router and have the firewall off, it works just fine
