Default Broad Band

Now, this dealing with speed, I noticed the speeding up broad band.. yeah.. can someone please explain that?

----------------------------------------------------------------

and this I dont under stand

-[Tweak the Swap File

For Users with 256 MB RAM or more this tweak will boost their Windows- and Game-Performance.
What it does: It tells Windows not to use any Swap File until there is really no more free RAM left.
Open the System Configuration Utility by typing msconfig.exe in the RUNConservativeSwapfileUsage =1" under the 386enh section.
Restart your Windows and enjoy better Game performance
Command. There in your System.ini you have to add”

is this right?
Msconfig > System.ini > (click the plus next to) 386enh >
I dont see a RUNConservativeSwapfileUsage

there is a -

woafont=dosapp.FON
EGA80WOA.FON=EGA80WOA.FON
EGA40WOA.FON=EGA40WOA.FON
EGA80WOA.FON=CGA80WOA.FON
EGA40WOA.FON=CGA40WOA.FON

------------------------------------------------------------------

and I don thave this, BOOTVIS.EXE
is it because of windows? hmm so am I screwed with that?

You're doing everything right, you just have to add it yourself.
When 386enh is highlighted, click new. This makes a new key, so THEN you can type in RUNConservativeSwapfileUsage=1.

Hit OK and reboot after you add it in.

You have to download the bootvis file, get it here, then follow those instructions.

That should decrease the boot times of your PC.

That's great!

If you use Firefox, and you don't feel like tinkering with all the settings, here's an extension to use to speed up load times of websites:

Have you tried IE and see if it works?

If you make web pages, ANY web browsers can browse your site you have created.
