Default Boot- Laptop Asks To Enter A Password After its Done booting?

Hi Community Im New here so during could you try to keep the explaination nice & simple please & thank you.

Ok here is my problem after my laptop is done booting (like after the white bar is completed) My computer asks for a password & this has never happen to me before so what can I do?

power on password, check in bios settings for it.

i believe the only way to get rid of it without knowing the password is to clear the CMOS jumper.

Where is the CMOS Jumper in the laptop mine is

a 2002 Dell Inspiron 1300 very old lol

well, the CMOS chip is located by its watch-style battery.

these days, machines seem to have CMOS clearing buttons on them, might be the case with a laptop. if not, check google for the various ways to clear cmos
