Blue Ray ISSUE

Anyways, wheni try to play a blu ray disc in my lite on player, it worked before...

now i get this...

says that everything is compatible.
But my it says my ATi drivers are not upto date. wtf. what gives, its at the newest one i believe.
iv installed the newest drivers twice.

This is really ticking me off...

37in Vizio Full HD via DVI-HDMI
Sound to 5.1 Surround RCA box via Optical Audio
Phenom X4 940 @ 3.4Ghz
1070Mhz DDR 2 ram
XFX 4850 512MB GPU
Liteon Blu Ray/DvD player

Did you fully uninstall the drivers. Then reinstall?
I'm not really lead to believe the issue lies in the graphics card, especially since you'd had issues with the Blu-Ray player before. Any drivers that came with the drive or was it OEM?

it was OEM, but it came with power dvd 8

i got it to work, though when the previews are playing it all works as it should

but when the movie starts a bunch of churping kinda sound comes out of my speakers for 5.1, so i put regular PC 2.0 speakers through the phone jack and it works fine, this is retarted, i cant watch blu ray movies using the 5.1 for audio, i have to use generic speakers for audio.

says something about how i cant output 5.1 audio without buying the full power dvd package and that is like 50 bucks.

anyone know of a good blu ray player software that is free or cheeper that supports 5.1 and 1080p?
