Blue Ray drives?

Yup. That's just LG's way of screwing people over. I bought one of theirs, and it said it came with software "to get your movies playing on your computer in a matter of minutes"
They never mentioned in HD
Or on a blu-ray. It came with a trial of some very crappy DVD player with almost 2 second audio lag.

Under fair use, you can legally transcode a Blu-ray disc you bought with handbrake [to] your hard disk so you can watch it in hd.

You mean Sony. They are the one's who created Blu-ray and the need for special software to watch movies on Blu-ray discs.

NOpe. in this case, LG. They intentionally decieve people into buying their product by making them believe the proper software comes with the drive, but it doesn't.
It can, however play HDDVDs no problem, but still with the audio lag. if anyone still has HDDVDs...
