Don't ever use WEP....can be cracked in seconds (incredibly easy, I've done it many times).

Change it to WPA- which can only be cracked by brute force.

I see where you are coming from. But I stil dont think that it is easier to hack using linux.

Tools can be downloaded just as easily for windows. Doesnt make it any easier IMO

THOMSON Is also a brand. Are you sure that it's not a network device that's in your home?

lol thompson is just part of the homehub
click on it and it will show you the samba server, which is where usb devices will show up (via the usb port on the back).
edit: i do have a homehub so im 100% sure on this.
