Why can't I run more than three torrents at the same time?
In the vast majority of cases, running more than one torrent at the same time is less efficient than running just one. And clients which stay connected to a torrent without uploading or downloading anything hurt performance for everyone else on that torrent. For these reasons, BitTorrent's default behavior is to download only one torrent at a time. In rare cases (such as when you are on more than one very slow torrent), it makes sense to be connected to multiple torrents simulataneously. For this reason, BitTorrent allows up to three simulataneous torrents, however, running BitTorrent this way all the time is not recommended and will likely hurt BitTorrent's overall performance.
And I can't run 3 torrents I can only run 1.
