Default BIOS upgrade

Ok i've been told its possible i could unlock overclocking on my acer E300 if i upgrade my bios, i know this is only a possibility, but could somebody please tell me where i can find these upgrades as I'm unsure exactly what i'm looking for.


My Setup -

AMD 64 3200 +, 256 mb Geforce 6600, 1GB PC3200 DDR400 RAM, 160GB SATA 7200RPM HDD

i wouldnt bother, its very unlikely that u will be able to

Most manufactuers lock the BIOS to prevent you from oc'ing, well, ones like HP, gateway, dell, etc. Acer, too, evidently. You would have to flash your BIOS using a disc from the manufacturer. Doing it manually could damage your mobo. I don't want to take responsibility, so I would suggest you contact Acer and see what they have to say.
Macbook Pro and Logitech z5500s. All you really need.
