Hello everyone! I recently built a computer, and everything was working great. Then I decided to buy a case, and a better processor fan. So lets start with what I have.

AMD Phenom II X4 965 CPU
MSI 890FXA-GD70 MOBO
Kingston Xtreme 4GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce gts 8800 GPU
NZXT Guardian 921 Case
Cooler Master V6 GT CPU Fan
ADATA SSD connected to sata port 1
old 60gb harddrive connected to an IDE port

My BIOS says this:
Auto-Detecting SATA1... Hard Disk

Then after about a minute adds this:
SATA1 : ADATA SP 900 5.0.7a
Ultra DMA Mode-6, S.M.A.R.T. Capable and Status OK

What do you think the problem is? The cable? It's the same cable I was using before and didn't have a problem. It also seems to be plugged in securely.

Try plugging that hard drive into a different sata port.
