Default Bios.

Got a question on bios. Im wondering if the bios clear if you formatt. Like if i install new bios then formatt do i have to reinstall bios? or not?

BTW. I have a ABIT IS7 mobo

Comp Specs: 2x WD SATA 80gig HDDs, Gigabyte Mobo - 4gb Ram cap Dual BIOS, 1024 (512x2) DDR400 FSB 533 pc3200 Corsair dual channle ram, Intel p4 2.6ghz processor, 9800 pro 256 256 GFX card, 1x reg CD rom, 1x DVD/CD burner, Standard MID tower.
Macs: Yeah you can waste money on this crap. I say make love not babies.

Well normally the BIOS is burnt in the motherboard, but on some make of computers like Compaq, it is on the hard disk. So maybe if you would delete all partitions, even the small one which contains the bios, you would have to copy the bios first and then proceed with the operating system.
