binkw32.dll need help

well i downloaded the bf2142 demo and i needed to download some d3xl something like that and it still didnt work so i said forget it i went to play my bf vietnam and it says binkw32.dll was missing i played it a thousand times on my computer and i have no idea how it went missing ... so i said ok ill download it off the internet i go to do that and theres no installer for it now i need help please!!!! ty

Apparently some installs copy this file to ya system32 folder, and its meant to be in application path. So have a look in system32 and if the .DLL is in there then delete it. Or ya could just do a system restore to when it was working.

download that and put it in the folder you need it to be in.

it doesn't matter if there's not an installer. Just make sure to download the missing .dll (which you said you already did) and then just place it in the main directory of the game. Probably something like C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield Vietnam\
