I have three .bin files that I have tried to open with MagicISO, PowerIso and some other crappy free one I found and all of them give me a message saying 'the file format is invalid or unsupported'.

Are the files corrupted or is there some way I can get them to work?

Thanks

Hey George,

This happened to me a couple of times with .bin files. The first time, I moved the files onto a USB flash drive and opened them successfully on my laptop. The second time, I assumed that the files were corrupt and moved on.

Try the USB flash thing, but they might be corrupt or something.

Best,

Chris

magic iso should be able to open .bin files. So the file might be corrupt. Do you have a .cue file?

If you downloaded the files, try downloading them again or get them from a different source.

Yeah thanks I'll try the flash drive thingo but I'm planning for the worst. Thanks a heap guys.

if they open and play in VLC PLAYER they should be ok.
you may have to make new cue files for them
a cue maker here
dont forget scan the files for virus etc
comes up ok with avg
