Default big difference in gaming between i5 and i7?

Hey guys, so i got a laptop with a gtx 560m but it only has an intel core i5 processor and 6gb of DDR3. Heres a link for additional details, Newegg.com - TOSHIBA Qosmio X775-Q7170 Notebook Intel Core i5 2450M(2.50GHz) 17.3" 6GB Memory DDR3 1333 640GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M Switches Graphics

My question is, if i would have gotten a laptop with an i7 and same graphics card would there be much of a difference in gaming? I got this laptop because i thought it was a good price for the specs and it fit in my budget. Games like world of warcraft, skyrim, soon to be diablo 3, or rift, would there be a difference? I dont think i will be playing games like battlefield or call of duty on it.

Just wondering what you guys think, thanks.

If they are identical except the CPU, then go for the i5, (if its cheaper).
If there the same price go for the i7.

CPU doesn't really effect game performance a lot, it is still good to be running a powerful CPU, but if your gonna save money then the i5 is much more value for money than the i7 range.
