BF2 on this setup?

Quick post asking for peoples opinions on how Battlefield 2 will run on this:
2.5ghz Intel Pentium 4, socket 478, 512kb cache
256mb Nvidia FX5500
512 RAM, 800mhz

I'd say with some settings on low and a few on medium it'd run nicely, what does everyone think?

Most settings to low, a few to medium or even to high.

I know its the card that's letting it down but this is an older computer i've upgraded and so the best it'll have is a 6800 LE which ill buy later on when i have more money. Oh yeah and possibly go to a gig of ram when I have the money for that too.

Its not gonna do so hot I can tell u that. The vid card is pretty low and the ram needs to be at at least 1 gig to be worth it.

i had very similair settings, and it worked but only on the lowest settings.
still good fun.

the graphics card u mentioned i was gonna get but try and dig deep for a 16 pixel pipeline card, well worth it for future gaming and not too expensive. eg ATI X800XL Platium
