BF2 problem

It seems kind of a common problem. Usually when you get a black screen thing, it has to do with your drivers or your video card. Since your vid card seems to be in working order, it must be the drivers. Try using the 6.3's, and don't install any patches. If it works without any patches, let it be. If it doesnt work, just get the patch and it should resolve any issues.

ok well i got into the BF2 MAIN thingy where you can change your videos options and so on and now i go to join a server and it just goes to desktop i didnt roll back my cat to 6.3 its still at 6.4

i just did a fresh reinstall of BF2 and i downlaoded and installed cat 6.3 now everything work's just fine thank you guys so much for the help
