CAS-2 is your best bet for speed and stability. You can do that in your BIOS advanced settings (alter RAM timings) if your BIOS allow you to do this.

OHH, i forgot about ballistix they are right below OCZ wait Ballistic is crutail ohh well, in my other post that ranks them, you can always just OC your ram to give it a lower Lat. But if you really want to go all out get OCZ

Here are two to choose from. Both are good:

CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145523

or

Kingston HyperX 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820144161

Corsair is cheaper, but not by much. They all have excellent reviews and low latency.

what about the kinston i was thinking about??.. on a scale of 1-10 how good would the ram i was thinking about buying be???

its only $130+HST each stick and i plan on getting 2 sticks to make 2GB total Memory

if not i'd have to wait at least 1 week to get other RAM

It's a good RAM. Or you can pay over $500 and get this one:

Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM ECC Registered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820144145

Lower latency, but I don't think you'll notice too much difference for the price.
