and? I'm on MCE'05. A 32bit XP. It can cleaned up and operating fine in a day.

True, but I just did a clean install off the OEM disk, and it works fine.

Linux is WAAAYYYY better though.

Sort of off topic-ish but I wonder how W7 checks the date.
Through Microsoft online server or through the computers clock.
Because if it's the computers clock couldn't you just simply... change the date?
Thus stopping the two hour shut downs. Naaaah couldn't be so simple.

After a certian date is reached the OS will start to shut down the computer every two hours. Until you buy it...
