I have been looking for a laptop just to have around the house (wifi web surfing). Looking at the ipay site there are lots to choose from, mostly for parts or not working, but many seem to be bargains....
Any advice on brand, processors (Intel, Non-Intel), OS, memory.... Keep in mind the price limit. Any stay away from CPU's or Brands?
How does Vista run on laptops that are not dripping with CPU and RAM power? Thanks.
I am willing to step up the price a little to get to what is a MIN level of computer you think would be a good bargain point.
