Question Best way to backup drivers

what's the best way to backup (say to an external portable hard drive) all of the driver's you currently have on your computer?

Download the current one's and save them to your drive.

i was hoping for a good, reliable, free utility that gathered all of your drivers for you off your computer, and backed them up into a file or something you could easily save to a cd or external usb hard drive.

There my be something like that. But I prefer to do it the old fashioned way to make sure I have all the correct and most current stuff.


A quick search brought up this: Driver Magician Lite. Most all other driver backup programs I saw you have to pay for.

yeah, i've been searching around also. that looks as good as any i found too. i just downloaded it and will give it a try. seems like a simple utility that will do what i need....thanks.
