Default Best Video Games?

What are the best video games that will really push a Video card to it limits? I know Quake 4 and Doom 3 and BF2 all are extremes but what are some other ones? And what is the best video games to get for PC or other gaming consoles?

(My sig will be changed later with a nicer Vid card so I can play some of these new games!)

FEAR would fit into both of those.
Also for testing the vid card, you could always play something like medieval total war and have MASSIVE amounts of troops on the battlefield. (though I imagine this would also need a lot of ram)

F.E.A.R. is your best bet I'd say. GTR 2 is also a good choice.

Oh yeah, Oblivion will definitely put your hardware to the test. You need a lot of RAM though to run it on higher resolutions...

How about S.T.A.L.K.E.R it has a similar world environment like oblivion, and I am sure if you turned up the settings it takes a little power for it to run.
