Well yeah there is that lol, u can get 'lite' versions of the board which are cheaper but have less feature, with the full version of the board u also get quad core support etc so i guess ur buying something that is a long term investment too, unlike me when i spent a fortune on my amd skt 939 mobo only for 3 weeks later, AM2 came out , this should be pretty future proof (1333mhz fsb support too)
