Default best motherboard

Hi im planning on making an new pc with about 3.0-3.2 ghz pentium 4 cpu, i was just wondering which would be the best mobo to go with that.

and what is the best 3.0Ghz cpu out there? i see lga775 and 478 socket, and i also see 3.0e 3.0c, if someone can gimme the best cpu and mobo to work with id appreciate it

Amen Brotha! go with asus! If you're going with a p4 3.0 - 3.2, I would say probably the Asus P5AD2 Premium. Before you decide tho. have a look at the AMD Athlon CPU's. An Athlon 64 3200 with an Asus K8V Deluxe would be just awesome, and cheaper.

Actually, the NForce3 250GB Asus would be better.. the K8N-E Deluxe. It costs a little more, but is a better performer.

so athlon 64 3200 with a k8n-v deluxe mobo? how does that fair against video editing and games and stuff are there any benchmarks i can look at to compare that and the intel combo?how much money would i save if its more than 50 id consider it.
