What is the best graphics card out right now for $200 shipped from newegg.com?

I was looking at the EVGA 9800GTX+ for $200 shipped

Who should I go for? NVIDIA or ATI? Which Model? 9800GT GTX GTX+ etc...

Here's proof that the 4850 does give quite competitive prefromance compared to the 9800GTX+ just pay attention to the resolution. I doubt you will be playing at 1600x1200.

Another Pro to going ATI is that they update the drivers every month or two which always increase preformance, so often that I'm behind by 3 driver versions because I just looked up the most recent drivers. Nvidia updates them every six to 12 months. :O

nvidia releases their drivers (beta leaks only) And they work as good/better in alot of cases then everything on their main website. For instance, the 177.89's all the way to 180.15 cames out in 1.5 months. Which was only about 4 sets of drivers or so.

For $200, it's got to be the HD 4850

The 9800GTX+ offers similar performance (although the HD 4850 is faster at higher resolutions and with filters), but is more expensive.
