Default Best fan's/Heat sinks?

I'm just wondering what the best and longest lasting fans are? My Processor fan keeps giving out on me. Not completely, but today, it was going around 3000 revs, when it's normal speed is right around 6000. Should I get some sort of tube and a larger fan? Do they last longer? What about these with no shaft? The magnets are in the corners or something... Well, I don't see those much any more

As for heat sinks, I was just wondering for future reference. Any particular styles I should look for. Heat pipes, number of fins, etc... I've seen those ultra quiet ones, are they any good? With the huge heat sink?

Hmm...I have considered that. I don't plan to overclock, but I do want a fast processor. Maybe that will be what I use though...
