USD or CAD? If CAD, you could prolly get a Athlon X2 3800+, 1 gig ram, GeForce 7600+, dual dvd burner. decent PSU, cheap case. Thats just the system. No monitor, keyboard, router, etc.

Here's what I've come up with. You might not like it but it's just something I threw together. If you want AMD then I can put one together for you later.

Intel
Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/product/Produc...82E16813128012
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811217003
Processor: http://www.newegg.com/product/Produc...82E16819115005
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227085
Graphics Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102019
Optical Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827101010
HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144701
OS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16837102059

total is $800.19 without shipping and taxes or whatever but that looks good to me, the only thing is the graphics card; I don't know if you like ATI or NVIDIA. I thought the ATI one was a good value but I'm not an expert on graphics cards so maybe someone else can suggest something better.

Hope that helps,
Troy

EDIT: there's no keyboard/mouse in that one but you could pick that up for pretty cheap or just use the ones you have now.
