There's the 7800GS, it's probably the best AGP. Look it up, im from Canada so in American dollars might be within your price range.

Yeah I've heard that too, since its very overclockable.

I have just got the 6800GS today, and I'm impressed with it. its not THE best since I can't run FEAR at full settings really without some jerks, but I know the 7800Gs would cope, even though it has the same number of pipelines.

Its effectiveness works through how many more operations it can carry out per pixel shader, per clock. The 7800GS does 8 operations, while the 6800gs does 4.

Thats where the extra power comes in. Other than that, its pretty much the same.

Oh and of course, you get the transparent antialising possible on the 7 series.

I would say something like this for $200:

XFX PVT40BUDF3 Geforce 6800GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150126

Shipping and taxes not included though, but I'm sure you can make an exception on that.

The lower you go, the less of a performance you'll be getting. Still, a decent card. Here are some good picks for the price you are asking for:

SAPPHIRE 100131L Radeon X800GTO 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102609

eVGA 128-A8-N350 Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130220

That's the lowest I would go and still have bragging rights and the ability to play every single game in the entire world.
