Default Before I Order

Optical Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827151171

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119137

HD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148262

Graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102770

Power Supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371007

Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122

Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128359

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115037

How does that look? I've never spent so much for a power supply before but what do you guys think? Is it a good one?

Does everything look compatible?

And any suggestions for a better computer in general would be nice. I don't want to spend more than 900 dollars right now but I will probably upgrade bits here and there in the future.

Get this PSU, it's modular.

I'd go with this case because I love Lian-Li and aluminum cases.

All the wires are separated, instead of everything permanently being in the case. This helps with cable management. The main motherboard and cpu connects won't be able to disconnect from the power supply.

You only use the plugs you need. Look at the pictures and you'll see.

I've never had a modular PSU before.

How to I connect the other wires to the PSU?

They are usually 6 pin wires you just plug in to the appropriate slot on the power supply unit. It's as easy as plugging an usb cable into a port. Or, a power cable into a socket.
