Default Battlefield 2 Problem.

When I try to connect to a server in Battlefield 2 right after I hit the conect button bf2 just closes

Hmm...check out your temps maybe? On any server, not just one server, right? Reinstall I guess...

ya it happens on all servers, i guess i'k try and reonstall it.

when you select a server does it close then or does it close after it has loaded a map for a server when you click the join button to go into the game? i had a problem with it crashing to desktop when i double clicked the join button after it loaded a map. didnt happen when i single clicked it

no it closed as soon as i hit the connect before it loaded the mpa, I reinstalled it and its working fine now...but i still have to put th patch on

Yeah, some file probably just got corrupted or something.

most likely you downloaded it...and half way through it had a glitch and made a file corrupt so when you installed you were screwed...also on some sites they have files that are already corrupt....so i stick with a trustworthy site like filefront!
