Hey guys
I recently purchased battlefield 1942 at a very low price due to the release of battlefield 2. I have been trying to made images of each cd in order to run them on a drive emulator (alcohol 120%) with little sucess.
I have been inundated with error messages, for instance "could not find bfcprt.dll" and "could not find msvcr70.dll" ... which I have tried to remedy by downloading these .dll files and installing them myself.
I now get one of two messages. I get the start up screen (on which you can select things like readme play options etc) press play, it looks like it's going to load but it just stays in windows. Or I get "could not find fingerprint" or "Msvcr70.dll loaded but it couldn't be entered into register" error messages.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong....
By the way, these messages above may not be word for word... I recently moved to Finland and windows is in Finnish for the benefit of my girlfriend, unfortunately she has to translate these into english. I am a pain in the ass I know
