I have a user getting this error (along with a Blue Screen) when she restores a cloned HDD image on her test PC. She says that this has happened with her Windows 7 x86 image and possibly an XP image (these images are on completely different hard drives and the HDDs are removable, so they are not both connected at the same time). Google came up with a few possibilities, mostly corrupted drivers, but bad memory was on the list as well. I am leaning towards the memory as this is happening on separate HDDs/OSes. Any thoughts or experiences with this problem? I have yet to get my hands on the PC, but when I get it I plan on running a memtest first. I just also wanted to arm myself with some other ideas while I'm waiting for the machine to become available.
