Default bad ram or avg?

okay, so i get this blue screen and it say's page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. i look it up online and it say's bad ram or bad program. saw in a couple of forums about it that avg can cause it. i did a system restore to before i installed avg, but in the process i also removed a gb of ram, 2 512mb sticks. is it possible that the ram is still bad or is it just the program, trying to rule it out before this virus scan ends so can know if im going to want to put the ram sticks back in or not... (ehh dont feel like running memtest or whatever either =X ha)

Unless you run Memtest, you aren't gonna know for sure if it's your memory or not. Prime95 and Orthos will also test your memory and you don't have to burn a bootable CD, but they aren't as thorough with catching errors.

You can also try reinstalling AVG.
