I have an AMD 1.8 Ghz processor with a tiny 20GB hard drive and running Windows XP. I am wanting to back up much of the hard drive because a lot of it is unreplaceable. I need to install a bigger hard drive. Right now my options of backing it up are burning the backed up info to CD-R. Is there a program that I can use that will allow me to back up to multiple CD-R's? All programs I have tried will not allow me to burn beyond one CD-R.

try norton ghost that lets you use multiple discs but bare in mind if your going to use cdr as you said, and you have alot of files (gb) to back up. you are going to use lots of dics, have you got a dvd burner that would be better, you might have been able to partition it aswell but looking at your hd space you probably dont have enough room, norton ghost also has a clone tool to clone your hd onto another but ive never used that part.
