Default back-up or something

ok. sorry here, i dont know about this much, its a friends laptop and i havne looked yet, sorry for lack of info, she has got a new laptop and it told her to do a back up, so she did a back-up, but there is still a box what she cannot get off on the desktop, it keeps changing to how much memory is needed to make a back-up. how do i get it off?

try to find it in the startup processes (start -> run -> msconfig -> startup)
It could be related with some process from a program by the manufacturer, so just make sure that u don't uncheck anything important.
