Default Avi to DVD

I have a bunch of avi files that I want to burn to one DVD to watch on my home dvd player. What programs are best to use and how would I go about doing that?

The latest version of Nero comes with video encoding features which makes it very easy to convert AVI's to DVD. Honestly, its your best bet.
