Default AVG Antivirus

Hey can anyone tell me what AVG antivirus (The free one) is like? I've had Kaspersky for a while now but I need a new activation key and don't want to buy it, so I'm trying AVG. How does AVG compare to Kaspersky?
Thanks

I have used AVG for a while, I find it fantastic. Avast is supposed to be a good one, but I have never tried it personally.

AVG is great. I've been using it for awhile and gets the job done. It also uses about under 2MB of RAM when the on demand shield is on which is nice. If you want a good paid antivirus go with NOD32, that's probably the best on the market.

Yeah AVG is great. You could also try Avira AntiVir if you want to, it's also free and very good.

I use AVG. Amazing for a Free product, and I feel its protecting my computer. Something alot of programs don't do for me.
