Default Average CPU temps?

What are the average Cpu temps for a p4 at stock speed?

well my 2.8ghz northwood is at 32-35 max idle and 48 max load but if it is a prescot it could be hotter also i have an akasa ak675 and a load of case fans

well, i have a prescot, and my case is around 100F so i imagine my cpu to be even hotter.

is this good?

well i use c and 100f is around 37f als measure your cpu tempif possible using pc wizard or simmilar

well. The max temp is something like 80C. So you have nothing to worry about. But the cooler the better. Right now my idle temps on a p4 3.2 ghz (originally 3.0ghz) is about 50C, but that's just because I've been too lazy to clean the massive amounts of dust from the heatsink. So when I get that cleaned the idle temps should be around 40C. (and I'm happy with that)
