Smile Auto Play

Ok this is probally a stupid question but is their any way to disable Auto play? because every time i plug in my external hardrive this little menu pops up reading the files on my hardrive and I dont know why but its really annoying

nate, for CD's you can hold shift while inserting the disc, and it will disable it temporarily, but i odnt know about external hdds, try it though, just hold shift whenever u plug it in
