audio problem

so i've got issues with my audio. they are plugged in, all the drivers are installed and they work. when i run the realtek audio manager demo i get sound showing me my 3d sound technology, however i get no other sound. no windows shutting down or loading up sounds, no internet video sounds, no error dings. not sure what is going on here, do you guys have any idea?

What does it say in device manager? have you got any yellows by your sound device? if so what is the error code?

I Had this problem with AC'97 on my old mobo,go to the Realtek website and download the latest drivers.
