Default Audio Drivers

I have a HP with an AMD 900mhz processor that has problems going from the OS of ME to windows 2000. The main thing that will not work is the Rockwell combo amplified audio and phone modem card. Are there drivers out there somewhere that may work? I like this audio card and I like windows 2K. Can someone help? Another thing that is strange that is the processor is capable of utilizing 512 megs of ram, but running windows 2K, it only recognizes 256. Is there a microsoft patch that will fix this?

if driverguide.com is still free, just look around there. That's where I tipically find my drivers...

I'm sure that processor can take more ram than that... It's your motherboard that's probably limiting ya... Sometimes ram doesn't work nicely together, perhaps that is your problem... Or do you have a single 512 stick? Some boards have limits to the size of chips you can put in too(older ones would be 384M max, but only use 3 128M chips)
