Default Audio controller device problem

I have just done a fresh install of XP on my desktop.

Whilst checking that everything was working okay in device manager I noticed that the audio device manager had an exclamation next to it.

I had a bit of a problem with the sound driver and had to disable the game port on the sound card to get it working. Is this what it is referring to???

Everything seems to be working okay and the sound is fine. Just would like to know what it means.

Thanks
