Exclamation Attention Dell Laptop Owners

AS most of you already know this, but i just wanted to put up this thread on the warning that if you have a dell laptop, you might want to look at this :

just an update : it seems that Macs have the same battery recall..

YAY mines a inspiron 2200 so my battery must be good cause there's no recall on it.

Ive got a Inspiron 6400 (on the recall list) - quite worried as I have noticed battery does get quite hot sometimes. Its not on the recall list but I will have to check further! Not very good for Dell as they are suffering current financial drops - I suppose Sony will pick up the pieces though!

Sony and Dell are splitting the cost to recall and replace all the batteries. Personally I think Sony should recieve most of the blame though, considering they're the ones who make the batteries in the first place.
