Hey for anyone using Microsoft Works, and needs the document to be able to opened on Word heres an easy solution. Just download this Works-to-Word converter. After you run the exe file, you'll now see a new option has been added when you go to file.. save as.. save as .doc (Word 97-2003).

Also, for anyone who just needs to open a Word document but doesnt have Office, heres another solution. Microsoft released a Word viewer, and it allows you open, view and print Word docs. I dunno I thought it was pretty nifty.
